Visiting Paradise Valley from Agadir

Paradise Valley is the most requested nature trip from Agadir. Here is what you need to know before you go.

Where is Paradise Valley?

The valley lies about 35 km north-east of Agadir, on the road to Immouzer Ida Outanane. Allow about an hour's drive, partly through the mountains.

How to get there

The easiest way is a private excursion with a driver who drops you at the start of the trail and waits for you. In a rental car, the road is paved but winding towards the end.

When to go

The valley can be visited year-round. Spring brings the most water to the pools; in summer, leave early to avoid the midday heat and crowds.

What to bring

Swimwear, a towel, closed shoes for the walk of about 30 minutes, water and sunscreen. Small Berber cafΓ©s serve tea and tagines on site.

Combine with

If you have the whole day, continue to the village of Immouzer and its waterfalls, spectacular in spring.
